Jorge Bejarano is a sound artist, creator of objects, instruments, compositions, projects and live acts. He is curator of special projects at the Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellín, where he leads the programming of the Sala de Experimentación Sonora Lab3. He has presented his artistic work through exhibitions, live acts, workshops and residencies in various spaces for the dissemination of electronic and sound arts in Latin America and Europe. He recently participated in the group exhibition Audiosfera, one of the largest of its kind that has been held so far at the Museo Nacional Reina Sofia in Madrid.

Jorge proposes to make a recognition of different aspects of the sound heritage of Mompox, from activities with the local community linked to listening, field recording and sound experimentation that aim to activate reflection and creation around sound and its potential as an element of education, recognition and appropriation of heritage, tourism, communication and ecology, among others.
