Lucía Vargas Caparroz (1987) was born in Buenos Aires, but grew up in Caleta Olivia, Santa Cruz, Patagonia Argentina. She has a degree in literature and a pedagogy from the University of Salvador and a master's degree in literature from the University of Los Andes. She has published three books in Argentina, Colombia and Spain: “All the time new” (2016), “Por ser del Sur” (2019) and “What takes time to leave” (2022). She has collaborated in various national and international journalistic media and has participated in anthologies such as “Bogotá Contada 10” (2023). She was the winner of third place in the the University of Los Andes. She is a reading mediator and workshop leader.
El Boga Residence
During her residency, Lucía will offer a version of her Experimental Chronicle Workshop, in order to promote dialogue and exchange with the community through creative reading and writing. At the end of the residency, there will be a space for socialization, with the aim of sharing the work done in the workshop and exchanging experiences with community members.
