El Boga hosts its second Yoga Retreat – Limited places
Instructor Ezgi Güngor practicing yoga in Mompox
We offer a five-day experience that combines yoga, meditation and Colombian culture. Set to the backdrop of Mompox, a world-heritage town nestled along the Magdalena river, Mompox boasts exquisite nature and colonial charm. Here you can discover music, architecture, arts and crafts and the unique flora and fauna that make Mompox special. El Boga welcomes you to a space of relaxation, restoration and discovery.
With yoga and meditation at its core, this retreat is an invitation to quieten and take time. To remove yourself from the bustle of daily life and reconnect with self and nature. Through two daily practices, freshly prepared cuisine and time to spend as you need, we hope you leave feeling restored and connected.

Who is the retreat for? The workshop is open to all levels of practitioners, whether you are a complete beginner or have a more advanced practice. The retreat will be led by two instructors who will alternate sessions and complement each other in their practice.
What type of yoga will we practice? Vinyasa (postures and movements combined with breathing) and restorative yoga (based on relaxation and breathing). We will also offer meditation and Pranayama (breathing practices).
Do I have to go to each session? During the retreat, you are free to do what serves you best. If that means skipping a yoga practice or a meal, we understand. Nothing is compulsory. Our aim is to offer a space where you can listen to your needs and reconnect with self.
Food
The culinary heritage of Mompox is rich in every sense. It is a meeting of Indigenous, Spanish, Arabic, Arabic and Afro-Colombian culinary cultures and boasts a strong vegetarian cuisine (yucca, mafufo, plantains, corozo). During the retreat, we will have a dedicated cook to help us discover and taste local, healthy and organic foods.
Most of the food provided will be suitable for vegetarians. If you have allergies or intolerances, please let us know at the time of registration so we can accommodate you.
About the instructors:
Ezgi Güngor (Australia/Turkey)
As a contemporary dancer, Ezgi has long viewed movement as a source of joy and creative expression – a way to connect to body and self. Throughout her performance career, yoga became a treasured practice for recharging, listening and carving out a restorative space.
Ezgi teaches Vinyasa Yoga in London and has hosted retreats in the UK, Colombia, and Turkey. She deeply values the role of community and works to curate welcoming spaces where culture is exchanged and shared. Though her training is informed by the movement techniques Ezgi specialised in as a dancer, in her teaching she inspires an innate sensorial understanding of the students’ bodies. Her sequences are creative, fluid, with plenty of heat and compassion.
Off the mat, you'll find Ezgi hugging a cup of coffee, laughing loudly and by the sea.
Ezgi's sessions will be in English, however, it is not essential to speak English to follow her classes.
Natalie Rodríguez (Colombia)
Natalie started to practice yoga in Cali in 2001. Since 2017 she consolidated her Hatha Radja practice with Andrei Ram and continued her Kundalini studies with Happy Yoga. She is currently studying the second level of Radja Yoga with Andrei Ram.
Therapeutic massages have also been part of her affinity for the medicinal and for the taste of service and wellbeing. She has a special affection for herbal alchemy and says that it will always be her source of inspiration and connection with nature to bring colour and joy to life.
Her path in yoga has led her to focus on breathing, which she considers essential to living with a smile more often and to share it with the world through friendship and authenticity.
Natalie’s sessions will be in Spanish, however, it is not essential to speak Spanish to follow her classes.
