El Boga Art Residencies

Under the title Tierras bajas, Redescubrimiento del oficio del barro en Mompox, Manuela proposes: 1) to locate the spaces where clay work is still preserved in the district of Santa Cruz de Mompox (places conducive to artisanal extraction of clays, artisans or savants, wood or ovens for burning), 2) to develop a series of pieces inspired by the flora, fauna and geography of the territory and 3) to promote the exercise of the ceramic craft in the community through the rediscovery of their own ancestral knowledge associated with clay.
